The Random League Champ Generator selects one champion from the current League of Legends roster. Choose a class, adjust the champion pool, and select Randomize.
How to use the random League champ generator
- Select All classes or one champion class.
- Use the champion grid if you want to change the pool.
- Select Randomize.
- Copy the champion name or share the result link.
The generator does not repeat the current result when the pool has two or more champions.
Filter the league random champ generator by class
The class filter uses the tags in Riot Games Data Dragon:
- Assassin: Champions that focus on fast target removal.
- Fighter: Champions that combine damage and durability.
- Mage: Champions that use ability damage and control.
- Marksman: Champions that focus on ranged attacks.
- Support: Champions that protect or enable allies.
- Tank: Champions that absorb damage or control fights.
A champion can have two class tags. The champion appears in both class pools.
These filters do not show lanes. Lane assignments change with game updates and player strategies. The tool uses stable class data from Riot instead of an unofficial lane list.
Create a custom champion pool
Each champion portrait is a pool control. A check mark means that the champion is in the pool. Select the portrait to remove the champion. Select it again to add the champion.
Use Exclude visible to remove the champions that match the current class and search. Use Include visible to add them again. This method can create a pool for:
- Champions that you own
- A class challenge
- A small group challenge
- Practice sessions
- Stream or custom-game picks
The tool keeps the pool in the current browser tab. A page reload restores the full roster.
How the League of Legends random champ generator stays current
The tool loads champion names, class tags, descriptions, and square portraits from Riot Games Data Dragon. It also uses the official base splash image for the result.
The current Data Dragon version appears above the champion grid. When Riot adds a champion to the current release, the champion appears without a manual roster update on Textavia.
How the random selection works
The generator first builds the eligible pool. It applies the selected class and removes each champion that you excluded. It also removes the current result when another choice is available.
The browser then uses crypto.getRandomValues() to select an index from the pool. The selection uses rejection sampling. This step prevents modulo bias when the pool size does not divide the available random-number range.
The tool does not use champion win rates, popularity, rank, or match history. Each eligible champion has the same chance of selection.
Share a specific champion result
Select the share icon to create a link with the champion ID. A person who opens that link sees the same champion first. They can then select Randomize for a new result.
The link does not store your custom pool or recent picks.
